Packing and Crating
At Exodus we have staff members who are certified as professional packers. We offer full pack options as well as partial packing. You can have us pack your china, artwork, collectibles, mattresses, and anything else you can think of. The advantage of having us professionally pack your belongings is that you can then choose to place full valuation or insurance on those items. Some of your belongings may need to be professionally crated instead of packed into boxes. These items include but are not limited to: slate pieces from pool tables, sculptures, glass that is too heavy or large for a box, animal mounts/taxidermy items, and structurally weak furniture.
Boxes and Packing Supplies
When you book your move with Exodus Moving and Storage you can pick up free used boxes based upon availability. We also have a full line of new reasonably priced boxes, packing paper, bubble wrap, mattress boxes, tape and other moving supplies available for purchase at our location. Valuation Options
Even though Exodus’ damage ratio is less than 1%, and the industry average is above 4%, there is still the chance that something may get damaged in your move. For this reason we highly recommend that you take out valuation on your items. Valuation is similar to insurance but because we don’t issue you an insurance policy, we cannot call it insurance. We have several valuation options to suit your needs. Please know that valuation charges are in addition to your moving costs.
