As a locally owned and operated moving company we have flexibility as well as courtesy for each and every one of our customers. We can meet your deadlines and in most situations provide you with the exact date of loading and delivery that you desire – not a week to two week window. We accommodate your needs and customize your move to your individual circumstances.

Because we staff our own drivers and crews, we often have the same experienced lead mover on your move from start to finish. This person is in charge of your satisfaction during the pick-up, the transportation and the delivery. They will facilitate your move and make sure that your questions are answered and your concerns are addressed. We will take care of you, from the time you call our office until your last box is nestled within your new home.

Rates

The cost of your move is determined by the weight of your belongings and how far you are traveling. We adhere to a national tariff for the moving industry for our national move pricing. At no charge to you we will have one of our experienced, courteous and knowledgeable estimators provide you with a free and accurate assessment of your move cost and review your move in great detail. Our estimator will also confirm requested pick-up and delivery dates.

The cost the estimator will present you with includes just about everything – the crew, the truck, the equipment, protecting your furniture and home, loading, transport, and unloading. Because national moves tend to have specific circumstances there may be additional costs for additional services. Please note that packing, storage and valuation are additional.

What Happens the Day Before Your Move and During Your Move

  • Before your move our dispatcher will call and confirm the time our crew is due to arrive and will review any specific instructions that have been provided.
  • On the day of your move, your crew will arrive at the arranged time, prepared and ready to complete the loading of your belongings.
  • If you have requested packing, we will pack your belongings, taking special precautions with those items that are fragile or that you have noted as having particular importance.
  • We will take a detailed inventory of your belongings, nothing the current condition of your items.
  • The floors, stairs and banisters are protected both at the origin and destination. We protect all your furniture by wrapping it in blankets, shrink wrap and/or cardboard and securing it with packing tape and/or moving bands.
  • If you request, we will disassemble beds, desks, and other items at origin and reassemble them in your new home.
  • We will efficiently and strategically load your belongings into the moving truck for safe transportation to your new home.
  • Once the truck is loaded, we will safely drive your belongings to your new home.
  • When we deliver your items, we will ask you into which rooms you would like us to unload your boxes and where you would like us to specifically place the furniture. We don’t want you to have to move items again once we have left.
