Primary Job functions include driving, pad wrapping furniture, carrying furniture and boxes, protecting house & property, packing boxes with household items. Summer is peak time, overtime is available.

Qualifications:

Physically fit, agile, coordinated, and capable of lifting 75 pounds repeatedly over periods of many hours. Able to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.

Requirements:

This is a Department of Transportation governed position, so candidates need to have a good driving record and be 21 years of age. Professional, customer service orientation. Able to pass drug screen and background check. Punctual with a reliable source of transportation.

  • Driver Class R, non-CDL: $18 per hour.  Increase in starting wage available for experience and job duties.
  • Local CDL Class A Driver: $23 per hour. Increase in starting wage available for experience and job duties.
  • Long-Distance Class A Driver: $300 per day. Increase in starting wage available for experience and job duties.
  • Non-Drivers Mover and Packers: $16 per hour. Increase in starting wage available for experience and job duties.
  • Health benefits available after 30 days (medical, dental and vision)
  • Paid sick time for all employees from the first day of employment.
  • Paid Time Off and Retirement savings plan after 1 successful year.
  • $2,000 toward the purchase of your own home after 2 successful years.

On-going wage increases based on job performance, increase in responsibilities and time with Exodus.

Exodus will pay for CDL Class A license after 2 years of successful employment.

Competitive Pay.

We do not claim to be a “discount moving company”. Our prices are fair because of the quality of work we provide. We understand that we have a responsibility to both our customers and our employees. We specialize in residential moving as well as offer a host of corporate relocation services. If you have heard of Exodus Moving and Storage you will find that our reputation rests predominately on our conscientious staff.

But in order to earn the loyalty of these good people who service our customers, we continually work to establish and uphold fair policies. For example, to encourage safety on the roads and employee satisfaction, Exodus pays long haul drivers by the day instead of by the mile or percentage of the job.

So regardless of inclement weather, our drivers still get paid their regular wage and there’s no incentive to go over the speed limit.
